This is for a college project due tomorrow, so any info at all would help.
I would like to transfer 50GB of audio files from one computer (XP) to the other (Vista). These computers are connected to the same internet connection. I’m completely lost

You could 1) use s/w like laplink and just hook one computer to the other provided you have enough room on your hard drive, or 2) save files to portable hard drive (you could buy from best buy or borrow from a friend), then upload to 2nd computer provided you have enough room on hard drive, or 3) use a FTP site if you have access – call your college IT and see if they have a FTP site you upload to, then download to 2nd computer provided you have room.
